The area of the Glacier North is underlain by rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Grab samples of pyritic and pyrrhotitic mafic volcanic rock assayed 0.23 and 0.14 per cent copper (Samples 459286 and 459287, Figure 10E, Assessment Report 21061; Rock Sampling Data Sheet, Assessment Report 19783).
